LEXCEL – The Law Society’s quality mark

Nigel Coe, Managing Director of Restons Solicitors Limited, is proud to announce that the business has been awarded the Lexcel quality mark by the Law Society. The award was made after a rigorous 3-day inspection.

Says Nigel, "This legal excellence standard is only awarded by the Law Society to those law firms who have been independently assessed as meeting its exacting practice management standards.

The Lexcel quality mark gives our clients confidence that they can trust their business to us in the knowledge that we only maintain this prestigious award by demonstrating our on-going commitment to our clients and the service and support we provide to them.

Less than 1000 Solicitor firms have the Lexcel quality mark and we are pleased to be a part of this select group. Lexcel recognises that we follow procedures that engender and enable excellent service, cost efficiency and minimises risks.

Inevitably we entered the procedure with some trepidation but because of our existing structures and procedures, I am pleased to say we found the whole process painless and straightforward. This is a testament to the commitment and hard work of all members of the business".

At the same time as being awarded Lexcel, Restons Solicitors was also awarded Investors in People accreditation; a double accolade.

Nigel goes on to say "focus and sustained investment in the human resource of any business is never wasted; that is why Restons has always tried its best to look after all of its staff, taking an interest in not only their career development but also, where appropriate, offering personal support too.

Although the IIP assessment was in-depth and far reaching, again as with Lexcel, our existing structures helped us to achieve the accreditation swiftly and painlessly".

IIP is the UK's leading people management standard, it provides a simple and flexible framework helping Restons to improve business performance and demonstrates our commitment to our employees not only to the outside world but also to them personally.
